Meet the East Dental Care Team

In 1983, I graduated from California State Polytechnic University and obtained a Masters’s degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering in 1990. I have been working in the equipment development field for years and my last employment before joining East Dental Care was Tool Design Principal Engineer of Boeing Company. I am very happy with the new challenges as the Tool Design Principal Engineer at East Dental Care. In 2019, I coordinated with distributors and vendors to upgrade all office and dental equipment to the most up to date digital technology to serve our patients better. It is my reward to make the jobs of all doctors and staff easier and more efficient.

Besides the technical side, I also enjoy travelling with my wife and cooking Vietnamese noodle soup Pho for my children.

I have been working at East Dental Care as a dental receptionist for over 20 years. This is the longest job I have ever had since I graduated and moved to Calgary. Gradually East Dental Care became the most important part of my life as my second home and family. Since working here, I have had a lot of chances to learn and experience all administrative operations of our dental office as well as become familiar with many of our office patients.

I devote most of my time to my job as I love working here, but I also enjoy shopping, cooking a lot on my days off. My regular destination is Las Vegas as our family enjoys the buffets and shopping there. I also love taking road trip vacations; one day I hope our family can make a long trip driving along Trans Canada Highway to discover diverse cultures and beautiful must-see landmarks that we have never been to.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting from SAIT. I joined East Dental Care in 2016 as an Accountant. My role involves the preparation of financial reports, accounts receivable, accounts payable and month-end closings.

I love the challenge of analyzing numbers, using financial formulas and calculating metrics.

I love helping East Dental Care calculate every aspect of the company’s spending, earnings, and keep their finances in order through my documentation and analysis.
